Mit Fancy Faye, Diamant de Oliveira & Dörte
Mutig startete Stefanie Malitzki mit der Stute Fancy Faye – ein ehemals unreitbares und gefährliches Rehapferd – in Ranshofen in der Dressur. Dazu muss man sagen, dass Fancy eben ein Rehapferd ist, das nervlich am Ende zu den Oliveira Stables kam und sehr gefährlich war, und Stefanie Malitzki bisher schwerpunktmäßig Springturniere geritten ist. Zum Kopfschlagen – an diesem Tag waren extrem viel Fliegen unterwegs und wir hätten Fancy mit Fliegenohren ausstatten sollen. Wir wollen mit diesem Video sicherlich nicht zeigen, wie eine perfekte A oder L Dressur geritten wird – aber wie ein Rehapferd, das noch einige Monate vorher bei der kleinsten Überforderung senkrecht in der Luft stand, fleissig und vertrauensvoll mit seinem Reiter in einem Turnier gestartet werden kann. Die Übergänge vom Galopp in den Schritt sind gut von der Hinterhand unterstützt, der Außengalopp sicher an den Hilfen – die Nase vor der Senkrechten irritiert sicherlich den ein oder anderen Reiter und Richter, ist so aber korrekt. Zufrieden geht Fancy trotz der neuen Umwelt aus dem Viereck. Wir sind stolz! Achten Sie nicht auf die Fehler, sehen Sie die Übung an, reiten Sie sie nach und entscheiden Sie dann, was es bedeutet mit einem Rehapferd das zu bewerkstelligen.
Mit Diamant ist Stefanie dann ganz in ihrem Element. Vertikal ist eben nicht nur für Dressur da, sondern unterstützt auch Springpferde in ihrer Entwicklung. Wir müssen die Pferde nicht „auf den Kopf stellen“ um sie kontrollieren zu können – das erlaubt Diamant auch, die -Sprünge klar im Blick zu haben. Danach zeigt Stefanie auch, dass das mit Dörte im L Springen nicht anders aussieht. Auch in den weiteren Turnieren ist es beachtlich, in welcher Geschwindigkeit Stefanie ihre Pferde reiten kann, ohne dass die Pferde nervös und hitzig werden.

Competitions in Ranshofen with Stefanie Malitzki (EN)

Stefanie Malitzki bravely started dressage in Ranshofen with the mare Fancy Faye – a previously unrideable and dangerous rehabilitation horse. It must be said that Fancy is a rehabilitation horse that came to the Oliveira Stables completely nervous and was very dangerous, and Stefanie Malitzki has mainly ridden show jumping competitions up to now. It’s mind-boggling – there were an awful lot of flies around that day and we should have fitted Fancy with fly ears. We certainly don’t want to show with this video how to ride a perfect A or L dressage – but how a rehabilitation horse that a few months ago was standing vertically in the air at the slightest overexertion can be diligently and confidently started in a competition with its rider. The transitions from canter to walk are well supported by the hindquarters, the outside canter is safe with the aids – the nose in front of the vertical is sure to irritate one or two riders and judges, but it is correct. Despite her new surroundings, Fancy leaves the arena satisfied. We are proud! Don’t pay attention to the mistakes, look at the exercise, ride it and then decide what it means to do it with a rehabilitation horse.
With Diamant, Stefanie is completely in her element. Vertical is not just for dressage, it also supports show jumping horses in their development. We don’t have to „turn the horses upside down“ with a LDR posture to be able to control them – this also allows Diamant to have a clear view of the jumps. Stefanie then shows that things are no different with Dörte in the L jumping. In the other tournaments, it is also remarkable how quickly Stefanie can ride her horses without the horses becoming nervous and overheated.
