Wir sehen den 10jährigen Lusitanohengst Gandhi zu Anfang in einer sehr schönen Piaffe mit seiner Reiterin Martina Duschl. Martina darf den Hengst hier nicht nah vorne lassen, damit er sich der Arbeit nicht entzieht. Nachdem die Reiterin in der Piaffe den Zügel verlängert hat, um zu überprüfen, ob Gandhi am Platz bleibt , stellt sich heraus, dass der Hengst ein wenig assymetrisch nach links ist. Er weicht mit der Hinterhand nach links aus und drängt mit der Vorhand nach vorne um sich der Arbeit in der Piaffe zu entziehen. Es kommt darauf an, den Hengst in den Vertikalen zu stabilisieren, die Reiterin darf ihn nicht nach vorne lassen, damit er Last auf der Hinterhand aufnehmen kann und somit wieder den Rhythmus und die Kraft für eine starke Piaffe finden kann.
