4 Wochen ist die Westfalen Stute FANCY FAYE nun in den Oliveira Stables in Beritt. Sie kam Anfang Februar als gefährlicher Steiger mit einer Lungenproblematik.
Die Lungenproblematik stellte sich als Symptom von Verspannungen des Rumpfes heraus. Die Stute hat also Atemprobleme, weil ihr kompletter Brustkorb so verspannt ist, dass sie nicht korrekt atmen kann! Dank der Arbeit von Domingos Conceição und Manuel Jorge de Oliveira und sehr viel mobilisierender Arbeit, konnte die Atmung der Stute bereits deutlich verbessert werden. Zudem ist es auch nicht verwunderlich, dass die Stute gestiegen ist, wenn man diese Thematik im Hinterkopf hat. Man stelle sich selbst vor, man bekäme keine Luft und dann wird einem noch ein Gurt um den Brustkorb geschnürt und ein Rücksack aufgesetzt – hier würde wohl jeder Abwehrreaktionen zeigen.
Nun sehen wir bereits eine deutliche Verbesserung der körperlichen Probleme, doch die Muster (Steigen) sind zudem in der Psyche der Stute eingebrannt und werden durch konstante gymnastizierende Arbeit nach und nach aufgeweicht. Sie lernt, dass der Mensch ihr nichts böses will – im Gegenteil: wir wollen ihr helfen.
In der Einheit kann man eine wunderbare Entwicklung beobachten und am Ende offenbart die Stute sogar, welches Potenzial noch in ihr schlummert und zeigt erste Passage und Piaffe Ansätze.

The Westphalian mare FANCY FAYE has now been in training at Oliveira Stables for 4 weeks. She arrived at the beginning of February as a dangerous riser with a lung problem.
The lung problem turned out to be a symptom of tension in the rump. So the mare has breathing problems because her entire rib cage is so tense that she cannot breathe correctly! Thanks to the work of Domingos Conceição and Manuel Jorge de Oliveira and a lot of mobilising work, the mare’s breathing has already improved significantly. Furthermore, it is not surprising that the mare has risen, if you keep this issue in mind. Imagine not being able to breathe and then having a belt tied around your chest and a backpack put on – anyone would probably show defensive reactions here.
Now we are already seeing a clear improvement in the physical problems, but the patterns (climbing) are also burned into the mare’s psyche and are gradually being softened through constant gymnastic work. She is learning that humans mean her no harm – on the contrary: we want to help her.
In the unit you can observe a wonderful development and at the end the mare even reveals what potential still lies dormant in her and shows first passage and piaffe approaches.
